Guru or the teacher is the embodiment of the Almighty as per our scriptures. We, Indians at heart and global citizens of the earth have our roots firmly placed in the teaching of our ancestors who have always taught us the importance of our Gurus in our lives. We want to hand over the same legacy to the generations to come.
The legacy which has produced genius like Ramanujan, C.V. Raman, Dr. S.Radhakrishnan and Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore needs to be handed over to the leaders of tomorrow. Although we have come a long way from the ages of ASHRAMS, as the abode of education to a more modern and globalised genre of learning, yet the essence of “Guru- Shishya Parampara” , the very Indian and revered concept is still fragrant in our system.
We, at The New Horizon School are holding on to our values strongly and are in a continuous quest for instilling the same in our children. Our genuine approach towards the same remains mutual respect.; a caring environment; close knit ties between the teacher and the taught and a democratic disposition of ethos at school.. These values foster independent and critical thinking, decision making and a humane approach to solve problems. My ardent and humble appeal to the parents is to let the support flow.
