TNHS offers the G.S.E.B. curriculum. In addition to maintaining high academic standards we also focus on the development of confidence and individual thought. The inclusion of value education in our curriculum helps our students develop into sensitive and responsible human beings. In our primary classes, the focus is on encouraging exploration and inculcating confidence in key learning skills – reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, observation and general awareness.
The students of TNHS share the responsibility of working towards a better world outside their boundaries. From an early age, TNHSites are taught the importance of social responsibility, and the school aims to involve each child in community welfare.
Subject Enrichment Activity (SEA) – An acitivity based evaluation of students for the given topics based on every subject. Through SEA, teachers would evaluate how much content which has been taught is understood by the student.
Abacus and Vedic Maths is included in curriculum from Std. 1 itself which helps student in knowing the techniques of fast caluculation .
Coding – TNHS is the first GSEB school which has pioneered in introducing CODING in the curriculum from std 1 itself, which helps the child develop interest in their later classes to form a career out of it.
Teaching Methodology practical approach through smart classrooms which gives thorough understanding of every topic in each subject.
Sports play a very vital role in the development of mental strength and physical fitness of a child. It makes students mentally strong and inculcates the qualities of team spirit and unity. A sportsman deals with both success and failure which is also a great lesson of life. We at TNHS understand this and make efforts to imbibe the same in our students.
Our school offers an array of indoor and outdoor sports for children to choose from:
Skating, Rope Malkhamb, Karate, Badminton, Yoga, Zumba, Carom.
We have specialized coaches for selected sports.
